Thought I'd show you this.
Well this is a bit of a result. I've been a fan of Josh Keyes for some time but because of lot of his prints are either very limited editions or being sold on for ridiculously high prices I have never been able to get my hands on one, until now.
The David.B.Smith gallery in Denver currently have this latest print for sale for a reasonable £175.
The print "The Call I" is limited to a very generous 750 and is signed and numbered.
It's also one of my favourite Keyes images.
I really can't be bothered to blog for the sake of it. So when I do it's hopefully because I have found something/someone that I admire or even desire.
Just recently I've been scouring the net for artists that really appeal to me and and whose work I would love in my collection, here's three of my finds.
I haven't added any pics of their work as it's hard to pick what I like most. But these sites are well worth a visit.
It's amazing what you can find when you've got some time to look around.
I particularly love this work. I love the concept and the execution.

Diabolus Mundus: Aaron Thomas Do you ever wonder what causes life's trivial annoyances, like lost remotes, runs in nylons, or misplaced car keys? Aaron Thomas blames it on the devil. Many little devils in fact. Mischievous grin's and beady little eye's are a prominent feature in Aaron's new show entitled Diabolus Mundus, meaning Devil World. Now a footwear designer at DC Shoes, Aaron graduated from the illustration program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. During that time he created a devil character for Rob Clayton's media experimentation class, the result of which has spawned into his latest body of work. Thomas' paintings are character-driven, meticulously executed, and a great example of pop surrealism at it’s finest. Don't miss this one! Coming to Subtext in October: New works by CJ Metzger & Miss Mindy.

I've never been to the SDCC and unfortunately it's unlikely I ever will, But If there is one thing that I would love to get from SDCC this year it would be this. KIZUNA.
Woohoo, managed to get one from Munky King, now when's that regular Koibito coming out?
Well it's about time I wrote something. I can give all the excuses I want but the fact is I just don't seem to find the time. I come home from work, look after the kids etc. Then I feel too tired to do anything.
Anyway enough of my whining it's time to turn over a new leaf.
I've been buying a few prints over the year particularly from Dan McCarthy and Daniel Danger. I like their style and they are relatively affordable. You have to be quick though as they tend to sell out pretty fast.
I was pleased the other day to discover another artist whose work is similar to both the above Dans and whose work I will also be attempting to acquire. His name is Mark Brabant.
Yes I know some readers will say, "I knew of him ages ago" etc. The fact is I didn't.
I particularly like this piece. "The days last lesson".
